I have wonderful news!!
Little wombat also known as Wilba or Butternut is getting another chance after his first surgery with a pin placed in his leg didn’t go as well as planned.
Tristan our amazing wildlife vet has arranged for a specialist surgeon Dr Guy Yates to plate his femur with his assistance just before Christmas.
I have been struggling to cope with the idea of that he would have to euthanasized otherwise as we were running out of options.
Money was of course a big issue, but Tristan put a hat out and my friends have all come together to pay for it as gift to little Wilba, the wombat who loves a pumpkin!
I am so filled with gratitude and so happy for this sweet darling.
Massive thank you to Tristan and all my beautiful friends that have given him another chance at life.
